Game Facts: Another late surprise in the form of this Football or "Soccer" game for the sake of our American cousins! Released in 1997 this stands as one of the most media shy releases, even by CD-i standards. With no announcements, previews, reviews or adverts featured in any of the CD-i literature at the time, with the exception of the ever vigilant CD-i market in the Netherlands, Ultra CD-i Soccer was completely unexpected. Playing very much like Sensible Soccer that many 30 somethings would remember with fond memories, CD-i Soccer is a well established piece of gaming software. Although not as good as Sensible Soccer, it makes a good attempt and is thoroughly playable.
